    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, Mark White of Taylor was recently recognized at
    1-3  the 1994 Williamson County Emergency Medical Service awards for
    1-4  his exceptional contributions to the citizens of the area; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Supervisor of the Taylor Emergency Medical
    1-6  Service station for several years, Mr. White was the recipient
    1-7  of the Directors Award for maintaining excellent quality control
    1-8  and implementing a solid public relations effort; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, As a result of his dedication and proficiency,
   1-10  the Taylor Emergency Medical Service station has become one of
   1-11  the best in the county; through his efforts, the station has been
   1-12  successfully integrated into the local medical community; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Highly qualified for his position, Mark White
   1-14  has worked full time with the Williamson County Emergency Medical
   1-15  Service for nearly five years and was a volunteer medic for
   1-16  another eight years; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, In addition to his duties in Taylor, Mark White
   1-18  also continues to provide volunteer medical services with Northeast
   1-19  Hays County Emergency Medical Service; he is a certified paramedic
   1-20  with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and the
   1-21  Texas Department of Health; and
   1-22        WHEREAS, His concern for others is apparent in the time
   1-23  he devotes to his profession; a Texas certified Emergency Medical
    2-1  Service instructor/examiner, Mr. White also teaches Emergency
    2-2  Medical Technician-paramedic classes for Austin Community
    2-3  College/Taylor Fire Academy and Hays County Emergency Medical
    2-4  Service; now, therefore, be it
    2-5        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
    2-6  74th Legislature, hereby commend Mark White for his notable
    2-7  accomplishments as supervisor of the Taylor Emergency Medical
    2-8  Service station; and, be it further
    2-9        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
   2-10  him as an expression of the admiration and high regard of the
   2-11  Texas Senate with best wishes for continued success in the future.
