    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2                               In Memory
    1-3                                  of
    1-4                        Mary Lee Love Harrison
    1-5        WHEREAS, The citizens of Caldwell mourned the passing of one
    1-6  of the city's longtime residents, Mary Lee Love Harrison, who died
    1-7  February 6, 1995, at the age of 67; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, An excellent role model for her family, Mrs. Harrison
    1-9  will be remembered with affection and gratitude for her love for her
   1-10  family, her church, and her friends; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, Born in Burleson County on May 7, 1927, Mary Lee
   1-12  became a resident of Caldwell at a young age and lived there the
   1-13  rest of her life; she married Herman Harrison and became a devoted
   1-14  wife and caring mother to her large family; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, As an assembly-line worker who conscientiously
   1-16  carried out her duties, Mrs. Harrison earned the confidence and
   1-17  loyalty of those who worked with her; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, A woman of deep faith, Mrs. Harrison was dedicated
   1-19  to her work at Macedonia Baptist Church where she was a deaconess
   1-20  and a member of the choir and the board of ushers; she was also
   1-21  involved in Mission Number Two and the Eastern Star; and
   1-22        WHEREAS, Mary Harrison leaves a legacy of compassion and
   1-23  commitment that will continue to live in the memories of all who
    2-1  loved her and whose lives she touched; now, therefore, be it
    2-2        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
    2-3  74th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the
    2-4  family of Mary Lee Love Harrison:  her husband, Herman; her sons,
    2-5  Herman, Jr., Arthur Ray, Jerry, Bruce, Lee, and Fred Harrison; her
    2-6  daughters, Patricia McNeil and Carol Ann Johnson; and her 36
    2-7  grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; and, be it further
    2-8        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her
    2-9  family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas Senate,
   2-10  and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in memory of
   2-11  Mary Harrison.
