    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Texas Senate is pleased to recognize Regina Hall
    1-3  who was recently promoted to community relations manager at KTRK-TV,
    1-4  Channel 13, in Houston; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Public affairs director at Channel 13 since 1992,
    1-6  Regina also hosts Crossroads, the weekly half-hour program which
    1-7  focuses on Houston's Black community; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, The Chicago native is a graduate of Loyola University
    1-9  where she earned a bachelor's degree in communications; during her
   1-10  career as a radio broadcaster she has worked in Chicago, Memphis,
   1-11  Jacksonville, and New York City; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Highly qualified for her new position, Ms. Hall
   1-13  moved to the Houston area in 1987 as public affairs director for
   1-14  KMJQ-Radio, where she produced and hosted Majic 102-FM's Sunday
   1-15  Morning Live talk show before becoming the station's news
   1-16  director; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, Dedicated to her work, she has earned the admiration
   1-18  and respect of her colleagues and her viewers for her innovative
   1-19  ideas as well as for her informative programs; and
   1-20        WHEREAS, Married to former Houston Oiler Butch Woolfolk,
   1-21  Regina is the mother of two sons, Troy and Jerrell, and finds time
   1-22  in her busy career to spend with her family; now, therefore, be it
   1-23        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
    2-1  74th Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to Regina Hall on
    2-2  her promotion to community relations manager at KTRK-TV and extend
    2-3  best wishes to her for continued success; and, be it further
    2-4        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her
    2-5  as an expression of the high regard of the Texas Senate.
