    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure
    1-3  in recognizing Nancy Adams for her selection as Corpus Christi
    1-4  Independent School District's 1995 Secondary Teacher of the Year;
    1-5  and
    1-6        WHEREAS, Nancy Adams is an eighth-grade history teacher at
    1-7  Grant Middle School and has 27 years of teaching experience; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, An exceptionally resourceful and dedicated teacher,
    1-9  Nancy Adams has assisted with a wide array of student activities
   1-10  over the years and has distinguished herself in her profession;
   1-11  and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Her students have greatly benefitted from her
   1-13  skillful teaching methods, her sincere concern for the individual,
   1-14  and her wise counsel and encouragement; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, Ms. Adams is a talented instructor and leader, and
   1-16  she instills in her students a sense of pride and a lifelong love
   1-17  of learning; now, therefore, be it
   1-18        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-19  74th Legislature, hereby commend Nancy Adams for her superb
   1-20  contributions to the educational system of Texas and extend best
   1-21  wishes to her for many rewarding years ahead; and, be it further
   1-22        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her
   1-23  as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
