1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION
1-2 WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary is a splendid occasion
1-3 and calls for much celebration; and
1-4 WHEREAS, Earnest and Frances Berry of Leonard have reason to
1-5 rejoice; since their marriage on April 8, 1945, in Texarkana, Texas,
1-6 they have spent 50 years together in love and devotion; and
1-7 WHEREAS, The family and friends of this beloved couple joined
1-8 them on April 8, 1995, at a reception to congratulate them and share
1-9 in their warmth and joy; and
1-10 WHEREAS, The loving respect Frances and Earnest share with
1-11 one another is evident to all who are fortunate enough to know
1-12 them; and
1-13 WHEREAS, This happy couple has been blessed with a wonderful
1-14 family; their son, Keith, and their grandchildren, Craig and Kody,
1-15 have been the source of much pride and joy; now, therefore, be it
1-16 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
1-17 74th Legislature, hereby join the relatives and friends of
1-18 Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Berry in extending to them best wishes and
1-19 congratulations on their golden wedding anniversary; and, be it
1-20 further
1-21 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for this
1-22 distinguished couple as a memento of this grand occasion.
