    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary is a splendid occasion
    1-3  and calls for much celebration; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, Frances Weatherley and James Hamilton of
    1-5  Greenville, Texas, have reason to rejoice; since their marriage
    1-6  on March 31, 1945, in the parsonage of the Methodist Church in
    1-7  Caddo Mills, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton have spent 50 years
    1-8  together in loyalty and devotion; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, The family and friends of this beloved couple joined
   1-10  them on April 1, 1995, at Ryan's Steak House to congratulate them
   1-11  and share in their warmth and joy; the event was hosted by their
   1-12  children; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, The loving respect Frances and James share with one
   1-14  another is evident to all who are fortunate enough to know them;
   1-15  and
   1-16        WHEREAS, This happy couple has been blessed with a wonderful
   1-17  family:  their children, Jimmy and Marcia Hamilton and Davie and
   1-18  Carolyn Reeves; and their six grandchildren; now, therefore, be
   1-19  it
   1-20        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-21  74th Legislature, hereby join the relatives and friends of
   1-22  Mr. and Mrs. James Hamilton in extending them best wishes and
   1-23  congratulations on their golden wedding anniversary; and, be it
    2-1  further
    2-2        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for this
    2-3  distinguished couple as a memento of this grand occasion.
