By: Turner S.R. No. 692 1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION 1-2 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pride in 1-3 recognizing Cleburne R. Randall of Crockett, Texas, on the joyous 1-4 occasion of his 81st birthday; and 1-5 WHEREAS, Born March 25, 1914, Cleburne Randall has been 1-6 privileged to witness events most of us only read about in history 1-7 books; and 1-8 WHEREAS, During his lifetime, he has witnessed two world 1-9 wars, the invention of television, and the landing of astronauts 1-10 on the moon; and 1-11 WHEREAS, Today, he enjoys reminiscing and takes pleasure in 1-12 the companionship of his friends and family; and 1-13 WHEREAS, A beloved and respected member of his community, 1-14 Mr. Randall is noted for his courage, his compassion for others, 1-15 and his enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest; now, 1-16 therefore, be it 1-17 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 1-18 74th Legislature, hereby join the family and multitude of friends of 1-19 Cleburne Randall in extending best wishes to him and congratulations 1-20 on the grand occasion of his 81st birthday; and, be it further 1-21 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him 1-22 as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. 1-23 ______________________________________ 2-1 President of the Senate 2-2 I hereby certify that the above 2-3 Resolution was adopted by the Senate 2-4 on April 12, 1995. 2-5 ______________________________________ 2-6 Secretary of the Senate 2-7 ______________________________________ 2-8 Member, Texas Senate
