    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure
    1-3  in recognizing Sylvia Schattle who has been selected for the
    1-4  Outstanding Member award by the Cameron Area Chamber of Commerce;
    1-5  and
    1-6        WHEREAS, Sylvia Schattle is well known for her exceptional
    1-7  work in the Cameron community and for the projects she has
    1-8  undertaken as a director of the Cameron Area Chamber of Commerce;
    1-9  and
   1-10        WHEREAS, A highly respected leader who generously devotes
   1-11  time and energy to civic affairs, Ms. Schattle chairs the chamber's
   1-12  annual autumn arts and crafts show and is active in planning a host
   1-13  of other events; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, A woman of many talents and a graduate of the
   1-15  Southern Methodist University School of Banking, Sylvia Schattle
   1-16  is a senior vice-president and cashier for the First National
   1-17  Bank in Cameron; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, Ms. Schattle's concern for others is legendary,
   1-19  and she has played a major role in the betterment of the Cameron
   1-20  community; now, therefore, be it
   1-21        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-22  74th Legislature, hereby commend Sylvia Schattle on her
   1-23  exceptional accomplishments and extend congratulations to her
    2-1  on her selection for the Outstanding Member award; and, be it
    2-2  further
    2-3        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her
    2-4  as a token of esteem from the Texas Senate.
