    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, A devoted couple's wedding anniversary is a splendid
    1-3  occasion and calls for much celebration; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, Edward and Audrey Clinton of Delhi, Iowa, have
    1-5  reason to rejoice since these former and well-remembered residents
    1-6  of Nob Hill, Quinlan, have spent 45 years together in loyalty and
    1-7  accomplishment; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, The family and friends of this beloved couple joined
    1-9  them on April 14, 1995, at a card shower to congratulate them and
   1-10  share in their warmth and joy; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, The loving respect Audrey and Edward share with one
   1-12  another is evident to all who are fortunate enough to know them;
   1-13  and
   1-14        WHEREAS, This happy couple has been blessed with a
   1-15  wonderful family:  their five children, nine grandchildren, and
   1-16  five great-grandchildren; now, therefore, be it
   1-17        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-18  74th Legislature, hereby join the relatives and friends of
   1-19  Mr. and Mrs. Edward Clinton in extending them best wishes and
   1-20  congratulations on their 45th wedding anniversary; and, be it
   1-21  further
   1-22        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for this
   1-23  distinguished couple as a memento of this grand occasion.
