    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, Randall Bohls of Taylor was recently named
    1-3  Master Farmer at the Taylor Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet
    1-4  on January 26, 1995; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Mr. Bohls was recognized for his valuable
    1-6  contributions to the farming community and for his involvement
    1-7  in various youth programs; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, A native of the fertile farming area, Mr. Bohls
    1-9  comes from a family background of farming that he traces back to
   1-10  his great-grandfather; Randall graduated from Taylor High School
   1-11  in 1971 and is in charge of an extensive operation that includes
   1-12  1,800 acres of cotton and grain in the Taylor-Thrall area; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Known as an outstanding producer, Mr. Bohls
   1-14  incorporates the knowledge he learned from his father with
   1-15  newer ideas to reduce time and expenses, thereby improving the
   1-16  profitability of his business; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, He freely gives of his time and energies to
   1-18  programs that advance agriculture in the area and serves on
   1-19  the Taylor Cotton Compress Board; and
   1-20        WHEREAS, Deeply interested in working with the youth
   1-21  of Taylor, he is a Boy Scout troop leader and coaches both
   1-22  basketball and soccer; and
   1-23        WHEREAS, Mr. Bohls is very active in Saint Paul Lutheran
    2-1  Church where he is a lifetime member, and he is a charter member
    2-2  of the Taylor Sertoma Club; now, therefore, be it
    2-3        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
    2-4  74th Legislature, hereby commend and applaud Randall Bohls for
    2-5  his significant contributions to the citizens of Taylor and extend
    2-6  best wishes to him in his future endeavors; and, be it further
    2-7        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-8  this distinguished Texan as an expression of the high regard of
    2-9  the Texas Senate.
