No. 804 1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION 1-2 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to 1-3 recognize Charles Wade who was recently named the winner of 1-4 the Outstanding Agriculture Award by the Cameron Area Chamber 1-5 of Commerce; and 1-6 WHEREAS, He recently received the award at the 61st Annual 1-7 Cameron Area Chamber of Commerce Banquet; and 1-8 WHEREAS, A graduate of Rising Star High School, Mr. Wade 1-9 graduated from Texas A&M University in 1969; he is the local 1-10 representative of the Soil Conservation Service; and 1-11 WHEREAS, Mr. Wade has worked in Throckmorton, Memphis, and 1-12 Stephenville before coming to Cameron in 1983; and 1-13 WHEREAS, A man who believes in giving back to his community, 1-14 he is a member of the Evening Lions Club and the First Baptist 1-15 Church where he teaches Sunday School; he also teaches local 1-16 Boy Scouts the art of conversation; and 1-17 WHEREAS, Always willing to give of his time and energy for a 1-18 worthy cause, he is highly regarded by his fellow citizens; and 1-19 WHEREAS, Cameron is truly fortunate to count Charles Wade as 1-20 one of its most dedicated leaders; now, therefore, be it 1-21 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 1-22 74th Legislature, hereby commend Charles Wade on winning the 1-23 Outstanding Agriculture Award from the Cameron Area Chamber of 2-1 Commerce; and, be it further 2-2 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him 2-3 as an expression of the highest regard of the Texas Senate. 2-4 ______________________________________ 2-5 President of the Senate 2-6 I hereby certify that the above 2-7 Resolution was adopted by the Senate 2-8 on April 26, 1995. 2-9 ______________________________________ 2-10 Secretary of the Senate 2-11 ______________________________________ 2-12 Member, Texas Senate
