No. 863 1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION 1-2 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to 1-3 honor Clear Lake High School Basketball Coach Bill Krueger 1-4 for his momentous accomplishments; and 1-5 WHEREAS, The legendary coach has the distinction of being 1-6 the nation's most accomplished high school basketball coach having 1-7 won more games than any other high school basketball coach in the 1-8 United States; and 1-9 WHEREAS, Coach Krueger extended his victories to a career 1-10 total of 1,066 games during the 1994-1995 basketball season as 1-11 he led his Falcons to the Region III title with a victory over 1-12 the Dobie Longhorns; and 1-13 WHEREAS, After their regular season ended, the members of 1-14 the Clear Lake High School basketball team were honored with an 1-15 invitation to play in The Legends Games at the Wilkerson-Greines 1-16 Activity Center in Fort Worth; and 1-17 WHEREAS, Coach Krueger guided the Clear Lake Falcons to 1-18 their finest performances all season and richly deserves the 1-19 credit for instilling in his players a desire to achieve their 1-20 highest potential; and 1-21 WHEREAS, Under Coach Krueger's exacting tutelage, the 1-22 Clear Lake Falcons have developed a sense of accomplishment 1-23 and pride that is shared by the school faculty, students, 2-1 parents, and community; now, therefore, be it 2-2 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 2-3 74th Legislature, hereby extend heartiest congratulations to 2-4 Coach Bill Krueger for winning the most basketball games of any 2-5 high school coach in the country; and, be it further 2-6 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 2-7 this remarkable Texan as an expression of the admiration of the 2-8 Texas Senate with all best wishes for continued success in the 2-9 future. 2-10 ______________________________________ 2-11 President of the Senate 2-12 I hereby certify that the above 2-13 Resolution was adopted by the Senate 2-14 on May 1, 1995. 2-15 ______________________________________ 2-16 Secretary of the Senate 2-17 ______________________________________ 2-18 Member, Texas Senate
