    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pride in
    1-3  joining the Bay Area Women's Council of Realtors in recognizing
    1-4  Earl Tischofer on his outstanding work as executive officer of
    1-5  the North NASA Area Association of Realtors; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, Earl Tischofer is a nationally known educator,
    1-7  trainer, and speaker who was formerly the director of education
    1-8  and training at the San Antonio Board of Realtors; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, A man of many talents, he is also a trained mediator
   1-10  and was an internationally ranked gymnast and a nationally ranked
   1-11  volleyball player who represented our country in the first Pan
   1-12  American Games in both sports; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, As head of the North NASA Area Association of
   1-14  Realtors, Mr. Tischofer has far-reaching responsibilities that
   1-15  include promoting the high standards of conduct in the real estate
   1-16  profession as expressed in the Code of Ethics of the National
   1-17  Association of Realtors; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, Under Earl Tischofer's able leadership, the North
   1-19  NASA Area Association of Realtors works to unite those engaged
   1-20  in the branches of the real estate profession for the purpose of
   1-21  exerting a beneficial influence upon the profession; and
   1-22        WHEREAS, The association promotes home and other real estate
   1-23  property ownership; it also designates, within its jurisdiction,
    2-1  those individuals authorized to use the terms realtor and realtors
    2-2  as licensed by the National Association of Realtors; and
    2-3        WHEREAS, Earl Tischofer is an exemplary individual and a
    2-4  highly respected expert in his field, and his leadership in the
    2-5  North NASA Area Association of Realtors is a significant asset to
    2-6  the association and to the wide-ranging communities the association
    2-7  encompasses; now, therefore, be it
    2-8        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
    2-9  74th Legislature, hereby commend Earl Tischofer for his
   2-10  exceptional accomplishments and extend appreciation to him for
   2-11  his superior leadership and his hard work on behalf of the North
   2-12  NASA Area Association of Realtors; and, be it further
   2-13        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him
   2-14  as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
