    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2                               In Memory
    1-3                                  of
    1-4                          Milton Lee Pannell
    1-5        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the friends
    1-6  and family of Milton Lee Pannell of Ransom Canyon in mourning his
    1-7  death on April 4, 1995, at age 68; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, This highly respected gentleman was for many
    1-9  years a construction superintendent for Tusha Building and
   1-10  Greenstreet Construction, and his knowledge of construction,
   1-11  his site documentation, and his ability to work with his crews
   1-12  gave him a wide range of friends and acquaintances; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, While nurturing a family and working long hours, he
   1-14  nevertheless found time to participate in the Methodist Church and
   1-15  the Veterans of Foreign Wars; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, This familiar and respected community figure retired
   1-17  in 1992, devoting more time to his family, and his death is a
   1-18  profoundly sensed loss for his relatives, friends, and professionals
   1-19  in the construction trade; and
   1-20        WHEREAS, His steadiness of purpose, his devotion to his
   1-21  ideals, and his ability to live each day to the fullest will long
   1-22  be cherished by those who knew him; now, therefore, be it
   1-23        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
    2-1  74th Legislature, hereby express sincere condolences to the
    2-2  members of his family:  his wife, Patsy Jackson; his sons,
    2-3  Greg Pannell and Jeff Pannell; his brother, Carl Pannell; his
    2-4  sister, Shirley Fortenberry; and his three grandchildren; and,
    2-5  be it further
    2-6        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for his
    2-7  family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas Senate,
    2-8  and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in memory of
    2-9  Milton Lee Pannell.
