    1-2        WHEREAS, Texas is a state that is known throughout the world
    1-3  as a place where great ideas are born; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, The citizens of Texas have always been pioneers and
    1-5  ingenious inventors; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, The citizens of Texas have always united for a common
    1-7  cause; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, Organizations have answered the call to action by
    1-9  finding solutions for the problems facing Texas families in every
   1-10  community; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, The Corporate Fund for Children recognizes the
   1-12  achievements of these organizations; and

    4-8        WHEREAS, The Best of Texas Conference honors these efforts;
    4-9  now, therefore be it
   4-10        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   4-11  74th Legislature, hereby recognize the Best of Texas Programs of
   4-12  1995 as exemplary community agencies and programs because of
   4-13  their efforts on behalf of Texas children and families; and, be
   4-14  it further
   4-15        RESOLVED, That the Texas Senate encourage members of the
   4-16  public and private sectors in government organizations, volunteer
   4-17  organizations, and businesses, to honor and celebrate the
   4-18  achievements of the 1995 Best of Texas Programs.
