    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The commemoration of a 65th wedding anniversary
    1-3  is a grand occasion worthy of much celebration; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, Lucile and John E. Bohannon of Ozona, Texas,
    1-5  entered into the bonds of holy matrimony on May 14, 1930, in
    1-6  the home of Lucile's parents in Brownwood, Texas; and
    1-7        WHEREAS, The achievement of this important milestone
    1-8  is the result of the love, devotion, and mutual respect of two
    1-9  remarkable individuals; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, God's grace and blessings have been bestowed in
   1-11  abundance on the devoted couple who celebrated their 65th wedding
   1-12  anniversary surrounded by their family and friends; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Their children, Mary and John M. Bohannon,
   1-14  Mary Sue and Howard Gill, and Carol and Sammy Martin, were hosts
   1-15  at a lively western shindig held in the Crockett Room in Ozona on
   1-16  May 14, 1995; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, Steadfastly embracing traditional Christian
   1-18  family values, Lucile and John Bohannon provided a happy and secure
   1-19  home life for their beloved children; their nine grandchildren and
   1-20  five great-grandchildren are the source of much joy and pride; now,
   1-21  therefore, be it
   1-22        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-23  74th Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to
    2-1  Mr. and Mrs. John E. Bohannon on their 65th wedding anniversary
    2-2  with best wishes for many more years of continued happiness; and,
    2-3  be it further
    2-4        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-5  this distinguished couple as a memento of this special day in
    2-6  their lives.
