    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure
    1-3  in recognizing Rhonda Allen for her selection as Wichita Falls
    1-4  Independent School District's Teacher of the Year, 1994-1995; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, This all-around teacher has worked at Kate Burgess
    1-6  Elementary School for four years and has been a teacher for eight
    1-7  years; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, She earned her degree at the University of Central
    1-9  Oklahoma; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, An exceptionally resourceful and dedicated teacher,
   1-11  Rhonda Allen has assisted with a wide array of student activities
   1-12  over the years and has distinguished herself in her profession; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Elementary students have greatly benefitted from
   1-14  her skillful teaching methods, sincere concern for the individual,
   1-15  and wise counsel and encouragement; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, She is a talented instructor and leader, who
   1-17  instills in students a sense of pride and a lifelong love of
   1-18  learning; now, therefore, be it
   1-19        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-20  74th Legislature, hereby commend Rhonda Allen for her superb
   1-21  contributions to the educational system of Texas and extend best
   1-22  wishes to her for many rewarding years ahead; and, be it further
   1-23        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for this
    2-1  fine teacher as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
