    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure
    1-3  in recognizing Judy K. Smith for her selection as Wichita Falls
    1-4  Independent School District's Teacher of the Year, 1994-1995; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, This specialist in the self-contained classroom has
    1-6  been a teacher at Austin Elementary School for two years and has
    1-7  four years in her profession; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, Judy earned a bachelor of science degree in
    1-9  education from Midwestern State University in 1990 and belongs
   1-10  to several professional organizations; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, An exceptionally resourceful and dedicated
   1-12  teacher, she has assisted with a wide array of student activities
   1-13  over the years and has distinguished herself in her profession; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, Young students have greatly benefitted from her
   1-15  skillful teaching methods, sincere concern for the individual,
   1-16  and wise counsel and encouragement; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, Judy Smith is a talented instructor and leader, who
   1-18  instills in her students a sense of pride and a lifelong love of
   1-19  learning; now, therefore, be it
   1-20        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-21  74th Legislature, hereby commend Judy K. Smith for her superb
   1-22  contributions to the educational system of Texas and extend best
   1-23  wishes to her for many rewarding years ahead; and, be it further
    2-1        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-2  Judy Smith as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
