    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure
    1-3  in recognizing Michelle Vassar Cassetty for her selection as
    1-4  Wichita Falls Independent School District's Teacher of the
    1-5  Year, 1994-1995; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, This self-contained classroom specialist has
    1-7  been a teacher at Alamo Elementary School for five years and
    1-8  also taught at Bowie for a year; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, She graduated cum laude from Midwestern State
   1-10  University with a bachelor of science degree in elementary
   1-11  education and a minor in mathematics; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, An exceptionally resourceful and dedicated
   1-13  teacher, she has assisted with a wide array of student activities
   1-14  over the years and has distinguished herself in her profession;
   1-15  and
   1-16        WHEREAS, Her students have greatly benefitted from her
   1-17  skillful teaching methods, sincere concern for the individual,
   1-18  and wise counsel and encouragement; and
   1-19        WHEREAS, Michelle Cassetty is a talented instructor and
   1-20  leader, who instills in her students a sense of pride and a
   1-21  lifelong love of learning; now, therefore, be it
   1-22        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-23  74th Legislature, hereby commend Michelle Vassar Cassetty for
    2-1  her superb contributions to the educational system of Texas and
    2-2  extend best wishes to her for many rewarding years ahead; and,
    2-3  be it further
    2-4        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-5  her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
