    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure in
    1-3  recognizing Pam S. Alexander for her selection as Wichita Falls
    1-4  Independent School District's Teacher of the Year, 1994-1995; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, This health and physical education specialist has
    1-6  been a teacher at Fain Elementary School for two years and has
    1-7  been active for 17 years in the field; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, She began her college career in Iowa, continued at
    1-9  Texas Tech University, and in 1981 went to Texas Woman's University
   1-10  and concentrated in Olympic track and field; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, An exceptionally resourceful and dedicated teacher,
   1-12  Pam Alexander has coached a wide array of students over the years
   1-13  and has distinguished herself in her profession; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, Her students have greatly benefitted from her
   1-15  skillful teaching methods, development of the individual, and
   1-16  seasoned counsel and encouragement; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, Pam Alexander is a talented instructor and leader,
   1-18  who instills in her students a sense of pride and a lifelong love
   1-19  of sports; now, therefore, be it
   1-20        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-21  74th Legislature, hereby commend Pam S. Alexander for her superb
   1-22  contributions to the educational system of Texas and extend best
   1-23  wishes to her for many rewarding years ahead; and, be it further
    2-1        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her
    2-2  as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
