    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2                               In Memory
    1-3                                  of
    1-4                         Francisca R. Trevino
    1-5        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the citizens
    1-6  of Mathis in mourning the loss of Francisca R. Trevino who died
    1-7  April 20, 1995, at the age of 100; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, Born April 2, 1895, in Paras, Nuevo Leon, Mexico,
    1-9  Francisca Trevino married Geronimo Trevino and moved to Mathis in
   1-10  1942; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, Mrs. Trevino was dedicated to her work as a homemaker
   1-12  and was respected in the community for her many accomplishments
   1-13  including her service with the American G.I. Forum; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, A woman of integrity, strength, and generosity,
   1-15  she gave unselfishly of her time to others, and her wisdom, warmth,
   1-16  and valued counsel will not be forgotten by those who knew her; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, A devout Christian, Mrs. Trevino was a member of
   1-18  Sacred Heart Catholic Church; and
   1-19        WHEREAS, Francisca Trevino was a devoted wife, mother, and
   1-20  grandmother, and she leaves behind memories that will be treasured
   1-21  forever by her family and many friends; now, therefore, be it
   1-22        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-23  74th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved
    2-1  family of Francisca R. Trevino:  her daughters, Alicia Garcia and
    2-2  Sulema Zapeda; her sons, Francisco Trevino, Omar Trevino,
    2-3  Geronimo Trevino II, and Amaranta Trevino; her sisters, Rita and
    2-4  Carmen Gonzales; and her 64 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren;
    2-5  and, be it further
    2-6        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared
    2-7  for the members of her family as an expression of deepest sympathy
    2-8  from the Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day,
    2-9  it do so in memory of Francisca Trevino.
