    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, Fifty years ago, Cletus and Glynn Mullins of
    1-3  Houston placed much faith and trust in the future which have
    1-4  been amply rewarded for they recently celebrated their golden
    1-5  wedding anniversary; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, Cletus Pyle and Glynn Mullins were married in
    1-7  Houston, where they still reside; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, The world has changed greatly during the
    1-9  intervening years, yet this loving husband and wife have clung
   1-10  steadfastly to traditional family and moral values; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, Throughout the years, Glynn and Cletus have
   1-12  grown ever stronger in love and devotion as together they
   1-13  have experienced the joys and sorrows of everyday living; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, The long and happy union of Mr. and Mrs. Mullins
   1-15  is truly an inspiration to us all; now, therefore, be it
   1-16        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-17  74th Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to
   1-18  Cletus and Glynn Mullins on their 50th wedding anniversary;
   1-19  and, be it further
   1-20        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
   1-21  this distinguished couple as a memento of this special day in
   1-22  their lives.
