    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
    1-3  recognize Cullen Mancuso who recently won a United States Small
    1-4  Business Administration award for the Houston district; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Mr. Mancuso was also selected as the state
    1-6  Entrepreneur Success Award winner in addition to his regional
    1-7  recognition; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, The annual awards are made by regional and state
    1-9  offices of the federal department from nominations made by banks
   1-10  and civic groups who administer or use Small Business Administration
   1-11  loans in expanding their businesses; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Mr. Mancuso, a native of Houston, built CVM,
   1-13  Incorporated, of Bryan from scratch; his U Rent M store in Bryan
   1-14  was established in 1968, and his company has since expanded to
   1-15  College Station, Temple, Brenham, and Huntsville; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, Mr. Mancuso feels that it is a real honor to
   1-17  win the award, and he is specific about giving credit to all the
   1-18  employees who work in the various locations; now, therefore, be it
   1-19        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-20  74th Legislature, hereby congratulate Cullen Mancuso on winning
   1-21  the Entrepreneur Success Award and the regional award from the
   1-22  United States Small Business Administration; and, be it further
   1-23        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-1  him as an expression of the high regard of the Texas Senate.
