    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pride in
    1-3  recognizing Bobbie June Rasbury who is retiring after 26 years of
    1-4  loyal service as a state employee; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Mrs. Rasbury began her successful career with the
    1-6  state  in March of 1959 and worked until December of 1964; she
    1-7  returned to work in 1975 and is now retiring from her position in
    1-8  the Office of the Comptroller of Public Accounts; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Over the years, Bobbie June Rasbury has handled her
   1-10  responsibilities with exceptional skill and dedication; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, During her tenure, Mrs. Rasbury has made many worthy
   1-12  contributions to the state through her expertise, her hard work, and
   1-13  her reliable judgment; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, An exemplary lady with an engaging personality,
   1-15  Bobbie June Rasbury is beloved by her colleagues at work, and her
   1-16  presence at the Office of the Comptroller of Public Accounts will
   1-17  be greatly missed; now, therefore, be it
   1-18        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-19  74th Legislature, hereby commend Bobbie June Rasbury for her many
   1-20  years of distinguished service with the state and extend to her
   1-21  best wishes for the retirement years ahead; and, be it further
   1-22        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her
   1-23  as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
