    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, On May 19, 1995, Carrie Perreault will be awarded
    1-3  her diploma from the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin at
    1-4  commencement exercises to be held on the Rudy Gamblin Football
    1-5  Field; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, Her graduation is the culmination of years of
    1-7  diligent study in a curriculum designed to challenge and broaden
    1-8  her knowledge; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Carrie can take pride in having earned her diploma
   1-10  from a school that is respected in academic circles in Texas as
   1-11  well as nationally for its outstanding quality of instruction and
   1-12  dedication to excellence; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, She can face the future with full confidence that
   1-14  her accomplishments, learning skills, and acquired knowledge will
   1-15  hold her in good stead in whatever path she chooses; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, Upon her graduation, Carrie embarks on an adventure
   1-17  into a world that holds countless exciting opportunities for her;
   1-18  the family and friends of this remarkable young woman are
   1-19  justifiably proud of her notable achievements; now, therefore, be it
   1-20        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-21  74th Legislature, hereby congratulate Carrie Perreault on her
   1-22  graduation from the Texas School for the Deaf and extend best wishes
   1-23  for continued success in her future endeavors; and, be it further
    2-1        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her
    2-2  as a memento of this important milestone in her life.
