    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2                               In Memory
    1-3                                  of
    1-4                              Reed Norman
    1-5        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins
    1-6  the citizens of San Antonio in mourning the untimely loss of
    1-7  Reed Norman who died April 5, 1995, at the age of 13; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, Born September 30, 1981, Reed Norman was in the
    1-9  seventh grade at Eisenhower Middle School in San Antonio; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, Reed was a talented and popular student who was
   1-11  beloved by his classmates and teachers at school; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, He was a young man of integrity, strength, and
   1-13  generosity, who will long be remembered for his friendly nature,
   1-14  his engaging personality, and his warm sense of humor; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, Respected in the school and in the community
   1-16  for his accomplishments, Reed was an exemplary individual who
   1-17  gave unselfishly of his time to others and who was devoted to
   1-18  his parents and his brother and sister; and
   1-19        WHEREAS, A source of pride and joy to many, Reed Norman
   1-20  lived his life to the fullest, and he leaves behind memories
   1-21  that will be treasured forever by his family and many friends;
   1-22  now, therefore, be it
   1-23        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
    2-1  74th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the
    2-2  bereaved family of Reed Norman:  his mother and stepfather,
    2-3  Sheryl and Armando Garza; his father and stepmother, Bob and
    2-4  Talya Norman; his brother, Robbie; and his sister, Amanda; and,
    2-5  be it further
    2-6        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-7  the members of his family as an expression of deepest sympathy
    2-8  from the Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this
    2-9  day, it do so in memory of Reed Norman.
