    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pride
    1-3  in recognizing the Bethania Regional Health Care Center on the
    1-4  occasion of its recent Accreditation with Commendation by the
    1-5  Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations;
    1-6  and
    1-7        WHEREAS, The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare
    1-8  Organizations is the nation's oldest and largest accrediting body
    1-9  and is dedicated to improving the quality of the nation's health
   1-10  care; the commission performed an on-site survey of Bethania
   1-11  Regional Health Care Center on January 16, 17, and 18, 1995; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, The Accreditation with Commendation is the highest
   1-13  level of accreditation awarded by the commission and signifies
   1-14  exemplary performance in meeting the commission's national
   1-15  standards; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, Committed to providing first-rate health care
   1-17  for the people of the Wichita Falls community, the employees
   1-18  of Bethania Regional Health Care Center are hardworking individuals
   1-19  who dedicate their time and energy on a day-to-day basis to helping
   1-20  others; and
   1-21        WHEREAS, The members of the staff and the administrators
   1-22  are exemplary individuals who deserve credit for helping to make
   1-23  Bethania Regional Health Care Center the high-quality institution
    2-1  it is today; now, therefore, be it
    2-2        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
    2-3  74th Legislature, hereby commend Bethania Regional Health
    2-4  Care Center for earning an Accreditation with Commendation and
    2-5  extend best wishes for continued success in the future; and, be
    2-6  it further
    2-7        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the
    2-8  center as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
