    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, May 13, 1995, will be a day long remembered and
    1-3  cherished by Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sullivan of Oak Grove for on that
    1-4  day they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, This devoted couple was married on May 12, 1945, in
    1-6  Kaufman; and
    1-7        WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan have always shared the trust
    1-8  and honesty that are the cornerstones of a successful marriage; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, The world has changed greatly during their marriage,
   1-10  yet Jo and Jack have remained steadfast in traditional family and
   1-11  moral values; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Through the years, they have grown ever stronger in
   1-13  love and devotion as together they have experienced the joys and
   1-14  sorrows of everyday living; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, Their union has been blessed with a wonderful
   1-16  family:  their son, Ronald Sullivan and his wife, Karen Sullivan;
   1-17  and their daughter, Kay Miller and her husband, Phil Miller; and
   1-18  their two grandchildren, Jay and Jana Miller; and
   1-19        WHEREAS, In commemoration of this milestone in their lives
   1-20  the distinguished couple was honored on May 13, 1995, with a festive
   1-21  celebration at the First Baptist Church in Kaufman; and
   1-22        WHEREAS, The long and happy union of Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan is
   1-23  truly an inspiration to us all; now, therefore, be it
    2-1        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
    2-2  74th Legislature, hereby congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sullivan on
    2-3  their 50th wedding anniversary with best wishes for many more years
    2-4  of continued happiness; and, be it further
    2-5        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-6  Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan as a memento of this special day in their
    2-7  lives.
