No. 1160 1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION 1-2 WHEREAS, Amy Rebekah Kellogg has mastered with an "A" 1-3 average all the subjects required of a Texas high school student 1-4 including American history, algebra, English, physical science, 1-5 biology, government, speech, and computer survey; and 1-6 WHEREAS, Amy has proven herself to be a loyal daughter, 1-7 a faithful friend, a benevolent leader, a good sportswoman, a 1-8 trustworthy employee, and a true Christian; and 1-9 WHEREAS, The admirable young woman is diligent, 1-10 hardworking, thrifty, truthful, tenderhearted, loving, joyful, 1-11 thoughtful, hopeful, optimistic, and friendly; and 1-12 WHEREAS, Amy Rebekah Kellogg has achieved her high school 1-13 education with honors through home schooling in conjunction with 1-14 Columbia Christian Home Educator's Association and Columbia 1-15 Christian School of West Columbia, Texas; and 1-16 WHEREAS, This bright young woman has worked diligently to 1-17 obtain her high school diploma and has availed herself of every 1-18 opportunity to learn and become a well-rounded individual; and 1-19 WHEREAS, She can face the future with full confidence that 1-20 her accomplishments, learning skills, and acquired knowledge will 1-21 hold her in good stead in whatever path she chooses; and 1-22 WHEREAS, Amy has achieved her goal and is now sent out to 1-23 fulfill God's purpose in her life with the prayers and blessings 2-1 of her family, friends, church, and leaders; now, therefore, be it 2-2 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 2-3 74th Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to 2-4 Amy Rebekah Kellogg on her graduation from high school and extend 2-5 best wishes to her in her future endeavors; and, be it further 2-6 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her 2-7 as an expression of the high regard of the Texas Senate. 2-8 ______________________________________ 2-9 President of the Senate 2-10 I hereby certify that the above 2-11 Resolution was adopted by the Senate 2-12 on May 23, 1995. 2-13 ______________________________________ 2-14 Secretary of the Senate 2-15 ______________________________________ 2-16 Member, Texas Senate
