    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, Joshua Paul Embry has mastered all of the subjects
    1-3  required of a Texas high school student including English, algebra,
    1-4  American history, world history, Latin, and biology; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, A pioneer in home education, Joshua has forged a
    1-6  path for others by completing his high school curriculum at home;
    1-7  and
    1-8        WHEREAS, This admirable young man has shown himself to be
    1-9  hardworking, honest, loyal, optimistic, friendly, and a trustworthy
   1-10  employee; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, A well-rounded student, Joshua has displayed good
   1-12  sportsmanship in excelling at athletics, especially soccer; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Joshua can take pride in having earned his diploma
   1-14  from a school that is respected for its outstanding quality of
   1-15  instruction and dedication to excellence; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, He can face the future with full confidence that
   1-17  his accomplishments, learning skills, and acquired knowledge will
   1-18  hold him in good stead in whatever path he chooses; and
   1-19        WHEREAS, Joshua Paul Embry has accomplished the goal he set
   1-20  for himself and will embark on an adventure into a world that holds
   1-21  countless exciting opportunities for him with the blessings of his
   1-22  parents, friends, and church leaders; now, therefore, be it
   1-23        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
    2-1  74th Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to
    2-2  Joshua Paul Embry on his graduation and extend best wishes to him
    2-3  for continued success in his future endeavors; and, be it further
    2-4        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-5  Joshua as a memento of this important milestone in his life.
