    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2                               In Memory
    1-3                                  of
    1-4                             Willie Sander
    1-5        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas was deeply saddened
    1-6  to learn of the death of Willie "Bill" Sander of Taylor, Texas, who
    1-7  died May 14, 1995, at the age of 91; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, Born March 15, 1904, in Mart, Texas, Bill Sander
    1-9  married Clara Saegert in Giddings on December 7, 1932, and the
   1-10  devoted couple provided a loving home for their five children; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, A man who loved the outdoors, he was a farmer and
   1-12  was proud of his life's work; Mr. Sander had earned the esteem and
   1-13  friendship of all those with whom he was associated; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, A dedicated Christian layman, he was a member of
   1-15  Trinity Lutheran Church; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, His wise counsel and good judgment will be missed
   1-17  and remembered with gratitude by those whose lives he touched; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, A respected and revered member of his community,
   1-19  Mr. Sander will be remembered for his devotion to his family and
   1-20  his friends; now, therefore, be it
   1-21        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-22  74th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the members
   1-23  of his family:  his sons and daughters-in-law, Eugene Sander and
    2-1  Mary Sander and Harold Sander and Jerry Sander; his daughters and
    2-2  sons-in-law, Doris Randig and Melvin Randig, Jo Nell Haltom and
    2-3  Thomas Haltom, and Mildred Kay Hardcastle and Steve Hardcastle;
    2-4  his sister, Frieda Thiele; his brother, Albert Sander; and his
    2-5  10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and, be it further
    2-6        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the
    2-7  members of his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the
    2-8  Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so
    2-9  in memory of Willie "Bill" Sander.
