     1-10     the committee to add Subsection (d) to Section 36.205 to read as
     1-11     follows:
     1-12           (d)  A district affected by Subsection (c)(2) that also may
     1-13     assess a water use fee against a specific municipality shall assess
     1-14     an amount not to exceed 60 percent of the total funding of the
     1-15     district received from water use fees assessed against that
     1-16     municipality and other nonexempt users in the district.  This
     1-17     subsection shall take precedence over all prior enactments.
     1-18           Explanation:  The amendment is necessary to adjust the
     1-19     relative financial responsibilities between certain districts and
     1-20     municipalities.
