1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION
1-2 WHEREAS, The Texas Senate is proud to recognize
1-3 Courtney Heinemann on achieving the Girl Scout Gold Award;
1-4 this fine young woman was presented the coveted award by the
1-5 Permian Basin Girl Scout Council; and
1-6 WHEREAS, Few achieve this distinguished award, the
1-7 highest honor bestowed on girls in the Girl Scout program; and
1-8 WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Girl Scout oath
1-9 and promise, Courtney advanced through the ranks of Girl Scouting;
1-10 and
1-11 WHEREAS, This personable young lady has displayed leadership
1-12 through planning, developing, and conducting a service project; she
1-13 is truly a shining example to other Girl Scouts and citizens of her
1-14 community; and
1-15 WHEREAS, In receiving the Gold Award, Courtney brings great
1-16 honor to herself, her family, her council, her community, and her
1-17 state; now, therefore, be it
1-18 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
1-19 74th Legislature, hereby commend Courtney Heinemann on receiving
1-20 this prestigious honor and congratulate her on her outstanding
1-21 achievement; and, be it further
1-22 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her
1-23 as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
