In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
44 (Relating to the creation of an offense to limit access by
children to certain firearms and to firearms safety education for
schoolchildren.) this office has determined the following:

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The fiscal implication to units of local government cannot be
