In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
121 (relating to the inclusion of vehicle identification numbers
on certain documents used to demonstrate motor vehicle insurance
coverage) this office has determined the following:

The bill would require the inclusion of vehicle identification
numbers on standard proof of liability insurance forms
promulgated by the Texas Department of Insurance.


No significant fiscal implication to the State or units of local
government is anticipated.
