In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
211 (Relating to the advisory function of the Texas Radiation
Advisory Board.) this office has determined the following:

The bill would state that the duties of the Texas Radiation
Advisory Board include making recommendations to and evaluating
rules and guidelines of the Texas Department of Health, the Texas
Natural Resource Conservation Commission, the Railroad Commission
of Texas, and other state agencies.  Agencies with radiation-
related programs would be required to provide the advisory board
with a written response to the board's recommendations and to
publish a summary of these recommendations and the written
response in the Texas Register.


No fiscal implication to the State or units of local government
is anticipated.
