In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
523 (Relating to stolen vehicle checkpoints near the Mexico
border and the jurisdiction of a magistrate to hear a stolen
property disposition hearing.) this office has determined the
following:

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The fiscal implication to the units of local government cannot be
