In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
594 (relating to the punishment and sentencing of a defendant
convicted of a repeat offense of sexual assault) this office has
determined the following:
The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure by adding
certain sex offenders to the list of 3g offenses.
The probable fiscal implication of implementing the provisions of
the bill during each of the first five years following passage
is estimated as follows:
