In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
775 (Relating to corporations transacting certain insurance
business) this office has determined the following:

The bill would repeal Article 21.33, Insurance Code relating to
corporations transacting certain insurance business.  Such
provisions are duplicative of other Insurance Code provisions and
no insurance entities would be affected by the repeal.


No fiscal implication to the State or units of local government
is anticipated.
