In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
896 (relating to requiring bidders for certain contracts with the
Texas Department of Criminal Justice to show proof of support of
employment programs for released felons and to the use of that
information by the Texas Board of Criminal Justice in awarding
contracts) this office has determined the following:




No significant fiscal implication to the State or units of local
government is anticipated.
