LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD
Austin, Texas
FISCAL NOTE
74th Regular Session
March 14, 1995
TO: Honorable Warren Chisum, Chair IN RE: House Bill No. 1113
Committee on Environmental Regulation By: Johnson
House of Representatives
Austin, Texas
FROM: John Keel, Director
In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
1113 (Relating to the exemption of certain pesticides from
registration.) this office has determined the following:
The bill would make no appropriation but could provide the legal
basis for an appropriation of funds to implement the provisions
of the bill.
The bill would exempt the registration of pesticide products by
the Department of Agriculture which have been exempted by the
United States Environmental Protection Agency. The Department of
Agriculture estimates a loss of fee revenue due to approximately
105 fewer pesticide labels being registered.
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
No fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
