LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD
Austin, Texas
FISCAL NOTE
74th Regular Session
March 28, 1995
TO: Honorable David Counts, Chair IN RE: House BillNo. 1187,
Committee on Natural Resources as amended
House of Representatives By: Pickett
Austin, Texas
FROM: John Keel, Director
In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
1187 (relating to the dissolution of the El Paso County Water
Control and Improvement District--Westway, the provision of water
supply and sewer services to the residents of the district after
dissolution, and the rates charged for water and sewer service by
the City of El Paso; validating certain actions of the district's
board of directors) this office has determined the following:
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
Because the bill would not have statewide impact on units of
local government of the same type or class, no comment from this
office is required by the rules of the House/Senate as to its
probable fiscal implication on units of local government.
