TO: Honorable Clyde Alexander, Chair IN RE: House Bill No. 1359
         Committee on Transportation By: Alexander
         House of Representatives

FROM: John Keel, Director

In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
1359 (Relating to road construction, repair, and maintenance in
certain areas controlled by the Parks and Wildlife Department.)
this office has determined the following:

The bill would make no appropriation but could provide the legal
basis for an appropriation of funds to implement the provisions
of the bill.

The bill would require the Department of Transportation to
construct, repair, and maintain roads in and adjacent to state
parks, state fish hatcheries, state wildlife management areas,
and support facilities for parks, fish hatcheries, and wildlife
management areas.

The fiscal implication to the State or units of local government
cannot be determined.
