FROM: John Keel, Director

In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
1366 (Relating to information in county records and on death
certificates concerning places in which remains are interred;
providing criminal penalties.) this office has determined the
following:

The bill would require cemetery associations to file copies of
the records of each interment in a cemetery with the county clerk
and would require the Department of Health to include the name of
the place and location of the plot in which a person's remains
will be interred on death and fetal death certificates.

There would be some cost to local governments to file records
required by this bill, but those costs cannot be determined.

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The fiscal implication to units of local government cannot be
determined.
