LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD Austin, Texas FISCAL NOTE 74th Regular Session March 21, 1995 TO: Honorable Hugo Berlanga, Chair IN RE: House Bill No. 1408 Committee on Public Health By: McDonald House of Representatives Austin, Texas FROM: John Keel, Director In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No. 1408 (Relating to purchasing, storing or transporting certain drugs for the purpose of administering to home health and hospice patients.) this office has determined the following: The bill would eliminate the requirement for home and community support services agencies to be licensed by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy as Class F Pharmacies in order to possess certain items, such as sterile water and sterile saline, defined as dangerous drugs.
