LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD Austin, Texas FISCAL NOTE 74th Regular Session March 21, 1995 TO: Honorable Hugo Berlanga, Chair IN RE: House Bill No. 1432 Committee on Public Health By: Berlanga House of Representatives Austin, Texas FROM: John Keel, Director In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No. 1432 (Relating to the staffing of certain emergency medical services vehicles.) this office has determined the following: The bill would require emergency medical services vehicles to be staffed by at least two individuals certified as emergency medical technicians. This would require a change in level of staffing, which would have fiscal implications for units of local government operating emergency medical services units. However, the fiscal implications to local governments cannot be determined. The bill would take effect September 1, 2000. No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
