LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD
Austin, Texas
FISCAL NOTE
74th Regular Session
March 21, 1995
TO: Honorable Hugo Berlanga, Chair IN RE: House Bill No. 1432
Committee on Public Health By: Berlanga
House of Representatives
Austin, Texas
FROM: John Keel, Director
In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
1432 (Relating to the staffing of certain emergency medical
services vehicles.) this office has determined the following:
The bill would require emergency medical services vehicles to be
staffed by at least two individuals certified as emergency
medical technicians. This would require a change in level of
staffing, which would have fiscal implications for units of local
government operating emergency medical services units. However,
the fiscal implications to local governments cannot be
determined.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2000.
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
