In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
1491 (Relating to partner notification programs for persons with
human immunodeficiency virus infection.) this office has
determined the following:

The bill would require notification of a partner of a person with
HIV infection regardless of whether the person with HIV infection
consents to the notification.


No fiscal implication to the State or units of local government
is anticipated.
