In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
1536 (Relating to the beneficial use of material dredged from the
Gulf Intracoastal Waterway.) this office has determined the
following:

The bill would make no appropriation but could provide the legal
basis for an appropriation of funds to implement the provisions
of the bill.

The bill would allow the Texas Transportation Commission, through
the Department of Transportation, to enter into agreements with
the Department of the Army for participation in the cost of
projects providing for the beneficial use of dredged material
from the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway.




No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The fiscal implication to  units of local government cannot be
determined.
