In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
1642 (relating to the county court at law in Hopkins County.;
Relating to the county court at law in Hopkins County) this
office has determined the following:

The bill would extend the statutory provisions for the statutory
county court in Hopkins County.  The bill would also increase the
basis calculation of the salary for the judge of the Courty Court
of Law.  This provision would increase the liability of Hopkins
County by $30,000 annually.  No fiscal implication to the state
is anticipated.
