FROM: John Keel, Director

In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
1964 (relating to the issuance of permits by the Parks and
Wildlife Department for the conservation, protection, and
management of certain wildlife resource; providing penalties)
this office has determined the following:

The bill makes no appropriation but could provide the legal basis
for an appropriation of funds to implement the provisions of the
bill.

The bill amends sections of the Parks and Wildlife Code related
to the issuance of permits by the Parks and Wildlife Department
for the conservation, protection, and management of certain
wildlife resources and also imposes certain penalties. Various
provisions of the bill result in a revenue gain, however, the
amount of revenue generated cannot be determined.

The fiscal implication to the State cannot be determined.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
